This is a solo exhibition by Pompano Beach resident Jordan Guzman.
Guzman was a participant of the exhibition "Space Between Us" and a key promoter of the children’s' exhibition "Through Their Eyes" at the Ali, where a number of her art students from the BB International School in Pompano exhibited their work. Her artwork is at the intersection of abstraction and figurative images. The curiosity about the nature of the mind and its connection to physical space comes from Jordan’s own connection to the homes she has lived in and how each of them formed her identity. Her father always kept their homes thoughtfully designed and the colors on the walls were ever-shifting. Her rooms were her sanctuaries and her parents respected these spaces as such and awarded her privacy. This allowed for her creative development at an early age and decided she would be an artist upon graduating high school.
