Join us for a discussion of Tongues Untied, a film that gives a voice to communities of gay Black men.
Join us for this month's Film Discussion Series featuring short clips of the 1989 documentary film Tongues Untied, a film that gives gay Black men a voice as they share their experiences with racism and homophobia. Several clips will be played and followed by an audience discussion on the ideas and implications of the scenes and the film’s impact. Audience members do not need to have seen the film beforehand to participate in the discussion.
