AIDS at 40: Long Term Survivors Speak Out

AIDS at 40: Long Term Survivors Speak Out

Presented by World AIDS Museum at World AIDS Museum

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the discovery of AIDS at the CDC, WAM is hosting a Community Dialogue Series on June 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. AIDS at 40: Long Term Survivors Speak Out features four panelists who have been living with HIV for more than 20 years. The panelists come from a variety of backgrounds and shed light on the varying experiences of long term survivors of HIV/AIDS. Panelists will each speak for approximately 10 minutes on topics including stigma, the future of HIV and what it means to be a long term survivor. The conversation will open to a dialogue with audience members in the Zoom room and on our Facebook page for the remainder of the program.
