Alexander Star is an Emmy-nominated recording artist, performer, songwriter, and social impactor based in Broward County, Florida.

These presentations will follow a standard format of performance, and a combination of one-on-one interviews, panel discussions, and arts presentations, led by the Cathleen Dean, Filmmaker, Producer, and the Director of Arts and Theatre Performance, at the VBBT.

This project seeks to highlight 1000 heroes of the black diaspora from all ages and walks of life to help provide a greater perspective on who black men really are.
