A new series featuring Black artists of history and today, the New Canon Chamber Collective's season continues its live and virtual "Music of the Unsung America" series with a concert featuring a classical and jazz fusion program of repertoire.  Presented at the Historical Hampton House, join us on June 18 at 7pm for "From Renaissance to Resistance" featuring "Tre'' by Dwight Banks. The program will also include music by Duke Ellington: "Sacred Concert'', "Come Sunday", as well as a string arrangement of Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit". A Q&A session with the performers will follow the performance.
