In celebration of the rich artistic legacy of the American musical icon and Empress of Soul, Nina Simone the Arts Garage presents the Ladies of Simone and their Simone Band at 8 pm on Friday July 9, 2021 for two wonderful show sets.
The Ladies of Simone will perform Nina Simone classics such as “I Loves You Porgy,” “The Look of Love,” “My Baby Just Cares for Me,” “To Be Young, Gifted, and Black”, “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” and more, sure to be a hit with the Arts Garage audiences. The Ladies of Simone’s vocalists are Sarah Gracel, Ja’Nia Harden, Toddra Brunson, and Deana Butler-Rahming. The Simone Band is John Harden (Pianist and Band Leader), Ryan Reid (Bass), Delano West (Guitar), and Jason Kent (Drums). Don’t Miss the Ladies of Simone!

Parking is very convenient with five floors of spaces available in the garage above Arts Garage. Please enter the parking garage on NE 1st Street, just east of Old School Square. Delray Beach charges $5.00 for Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings after 4:00 PM. There is a machine at each elevator entrance where you can pay and then you leave your ticket in your window. You can also download Parkmobile from your app store on your mobile device. (We are Zone 3171.) Once you set up your account, you do not need a paper ticket; your information is logged on the app.
