Pat “Mother Blues” Cohen will be performing at the Arts Garage in Delray Beach on June 19 at 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm for the Juneteenth celebration.
The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum and Arts Garage welcome Pat “Mother Blues” Cohen and Dr. Joan Cartwright to Arts Garage on June 19. To coincide with their special, two-day residency, they’re exploring the history and influence of women in rhythm and blues, as the focus of the 2021 Juneteenth Celebration.
A popular performer at the 2017 Spady Living Heritage Festival, Cohen returns to Delray Beach, thanks to a Traditional Arts Touring Grant from South Arts. She will perform a full-length concert, as part of the official celebration.
