About ATNSC: Center for Healing and Creative Leadership

ATNSC: Center for Healing & Creative Leadership (pronounced Ata-en-sic) is an urban retreat center and social practice experiment in holistic health, leadership development, Indigenous arts and culture and the Akhsótha Gallery located in the historic Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood.  Built in 1915 and currently under renovation, the space serves as an experiment in social practice, inter-generational dialogue, place reclamation and residency space rooted in Indigenous arts & culture for writers, artists, thought leaders and traditional healers.


About M. Carmen Lane
M. Carmen Lane, MSOD (African-American/Mohawk/Tuscarora) is a two:spirit artist and facilitator (mcarmenlane.com). They are the founder and director of ATNSC: Center for Healing & Creative Leadership (atnsc.org), an artist-run urban retreat, residency and gallery space in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.
