Miami City Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company are excited to announce the upcoming world premiere of "ViVa” on April 1. A fast, passionate, exuberant new work created especially for the virtual stage by genre-blurring choreographer Amy Hall Garner.

The work travels from the birthplace of Miami City Ballet on Miami Beach’s famed Lincoln Road to Paul Taylor Dance Company in Manhattan’s vibrant Lower East Side. MCB soloist Samantha Hope Galler and John Harnage, PTDC member, Miami native and Miami City Ballet School alumnus perform in their respective cities, connected by the uplifting power of dance.

“ViVa” marks a special occasion as the first collaboration between Miami City Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company.
