Dick Lowenthal’s All-Star Jazz Quintet, is a curated show by Dick Lowenthal from members of his Big Band, many of whom have performed dozens of sold-out concerts at the Arts Garage. These musicians all have extensive backgrounds, performing as soloists and ensemble players with major celebrities and Big Bands in the entertainment field. Produced and organized by Dick, the group will perform selections from the Great American Songbook, featuring such composers as Gershwin, Porter, Kern, and Berlin, along with Jazz Musicians who were born in the month of April.  They include Herbie Hancock, Gerry Mulligan, Joe Henderson, and others.
