This session featuring the work of Mark Rothko who is known for his color field paintings from the mid 1900s.
We’re excited to welcome you back to Arts Warehouse for this workshop, safely! This acrylic painting workshop is a little art history, a little technique, and a lot of creative exploration. Intro to Creativity will be a chance for artists or new artists of any level to tap into new processes using acrylic paint. Instructor Beverly “Bevo” Manning will lead the workshop exploring a selected artist each class, and guiding students through the painting techniques used to make some of their most famous works.
The main goal for Intro to Creativity is to give an opportunity for students to learn, explore, relax and enjoy painting! While everyone is encouraged to take this workshop, it was designed these people in mind: those who’ve never painted before, those who feeling a creative block, and those who just are curious to explore something new.
Before starting the workshop, the instructor will introduce a meditation technique meant to open up the creative mind, helping each student set a specific intention that will subconsciously influence his/her/their painting style. Get ready to get creative! All materials are provided.
Deadline to register will be the day before the class. Click here to get your tickets
