The theme of the work must be inspired by, or highlighting, mental and behavioral health with special emphasis on COVID-19. Exhibition title still in process.

The exhibition will be on view in the Back Room Gallery at Arts Warehouse from May 7th - May 31st, 2021. The Art Ball event will be held on May 8th at 7pm.

More on Art Ball 2021

The Art Ball will be held in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, a time to help break the stigma of mental illness and to encourage people to get the help they need. The Art Ball will encompass the visual arts on multiple levels, including an art exhibition and fashion show while ultimately drawing attention to mental health and the importance of openness and representation of various mental health issues in different arenas. The art exhibition will be on display for the entire month of May at Arts Warehouse.

The Ball will benefit the artist community in Palm Beach County. Covid has slowed down a lot of venues and workspaces for artist, so this event will give them the freedom to showcase what they have been working on.

Part of the Art Ball event will be the representation of various PBC organizations that deal with mental health. Organizations like Compass Community Center, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, Center for Drug Studies, and the Delray Center of Healing will be on site to answer questions, and hand out literature. The Art Ball will allow community members the opportunity to mingle with these organizations and to hopefully find others that have experience with mental health either personally or in their friend and family circles.

Final details and schedule of events, and ticketing info to be released soon. This event will have limited capacity, so tickets will be required for entry.
