Art Lab | Lifedrawing with the iPad and Procreate

The instructor will review the basic functions of the APP “Procreate” and its main drawing and painting tools, then teach techniques for mimicking sketching with pencils, charcoal, and pastels to capture still-life presentations and live figure models during the workshop.

Class Requirements:

• Fully charged iPad

• a Digital Pen (Apple Pencil)

• APP Procreate (APP must be purchased and installed in advance)

A little about the Instructor:

Artist Jeffrey Wiener has been offering this workshop since 2015 where he first taught this workshop at The Art Students League of New York. Since then, the class has been requested several times a year in New York, the Catskills in upstate New York, and here in South Florida/Palm Beach County. Now he brings his highly acclaimed workshop to Delray Beach.

Parking Info

Street parking along 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue is free. There are two public parking lots which are north of Arts Warehouse on 3rd Avenue. Arts Warehouse is a short walk from the main downtown areas and Pineapple Grove garages. PLEASE do not park in the dirt parking lot at the northwest corner of 3rd & 3rd as it is not a public parking lot.

The use of Uber, Lyft, and carpooling is encouraged.
