DINGGIN Performs “MUSIKA”

            Dinggin, South Florida’s Filipino Choral Ensemble, performs “Musika” at the St. Nicholas Episcopal Church,  located at 1111 E. Sample Road, Pompano Beach, Florida 33064 on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 4 p.m., for a special Spring-Summer event. The choral ensemble will showcase its mastery as musical performers using a variety of musical programs from full choral ensemble to soloists, a capella, and with piano accompaniment, highlighting a range of repertoire from broadway, classical, pop and traditional folk songs from countries around the world, including the Philippines.  

         Dinggin is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1996 with a mission to promote cultural appreciation and spiritual enlightenment through music. The ensemble group has a membership that is spread throughout the tricounty area of South Florida, from Miami to Jupiter. They are community volunteers who have dedicated their time and their talent through their ongoing rehearsals and performances at various community, private, cultural, holiday, and fundraising events, as well as liturgical services, weddings, and funerals.

          Cost of the show: Suggested $10 donation at the door.
