Oct 30 2018

Presented by City of Pembroke Pines at Charles F. Dodge City Center

Hosted by the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, the City’s Annual “Boo-ville” is taking place on Tuesday October 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.

With surprises at every turn, Boo-Ville is a Halloween event that’s fun for all ages.  Visitors can show off their best Halloween costumes and fill up those pumpkins and carrying cases with as much candy as possible to satisfy their sweet tooth.  Admission and Parking are free.
Boo-Ville features pumpkin patches with hidden prizes, movies, a costume contest, trick or treat stations, arts & crafts, and many more fun activities.  The Teal Pumpkin Project, a national campaign by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), will designate non-food treats to children at Boo-Ville who have food allergies, and for those whom candy is not an option.

New to Boo-Ville this year is the Pumpkin Carving Contest. Families are encouraged to bring their pre-decorated pumpkins to feature at the event. There are three different categories: Scariest, Funniest and Most Creative.  Secret Judges will choose the winners in each category and the kids in attendance will be able to vote for the Kids Choice Award. Please refer to the rules and regulations for the inaugural Pumpkin Carving Contest at www.ppines.com/specialevents
