The “XII Voices Speaking for Art” is a close knit group of 12 professional women and artists who are connected through their love of art. Their presentation is a kaleidoscope of all forms of art while their creations range from realism to modern and to abstract, from acrylic, water colors to mixed media and collage. Meet the artists on May 19th and view their new interpretations of art forms: Teresa Kirk, Tammy Seymur, Nancy Neidich, Mary Harding, Marcia Hirschy, Lois Perdue, Elaine Kahn, Jean Ellerie, Janet Davis, Jane Collin and Carol Ann Thaw, (one artist had to withdraw). For over 15 years the group has met monthly sharing new information, exchanging ideas, and obtaining input for their artwork through the helpful evaluations and friendly critiques of peers. They created challenges for one another such as self-portraits or a painting each day. Celebrate the art created by these art trailblazing women who are diversified, innovative, energizing, creative, and uniquely talented.
Opening reception on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 p.m
