"Women Painting Women" is a talk about the changing world and how female artists record their experiences and deal with these changes. Louise Bourgeois changed the subject matter for female artists and opened subjects that were never dealt with before. Had someone like Louise not done this, the question becomes would there have been room for others like Tracy Emin or Jenny Seville, or Lisa Yuskavage and the kind of success they have achieved. Female roles, physical appearances, sexuality, and standards have changed...female artists are recording this.
