The theme for this year’s program is Sankofa: Looking at The Past to Build A Better Future. Nzingah says, “Through our exploration of Africa's rich culture and history we can build and create new concepts and build a better community.” She says her program’s goal is to deliver workshops and panel discussions that tie into the Seven Principals of Kwanzaa (Ngozo Saba)—and excite the audience with colorful performances. Her aim is, "Connecting People, Families, and Communities."
