1ST Annual Exit 36 Poetry Festival Winter Festival...

Presented by Pompano Beach CRA Bojos Seafood Kitchen Pmpano Beach Cultural Center PSC SECURITY at Downtown Pompano Arts district

We’ve seen poetry change the lives of thousands of young people. We’ve seen spoken word serve as a catalyst for social change and humanitarianism, but most near to our hearts and our mission are the times we’ve seen a young person write their very first . With their hands and voice shaking, we witness them share it in front of their peers. It is this moment, the spark of empowerment, the realization that change can happen through words, which fueled us to start Pompano’s First Slam Poetry Festival.
