BRIDEGROOM Wednesday, June 18 at 7 pm, FREE Presented by Stonewall and ArtServe as part of the exhibit ART = ANTIDOTE TO HATE
Directed by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason (Designing Women), Bridegroom, is a deeply moving documentary that champions gay marriage equality while exploring the tragic results of homophobia.  Chronicling the 6-year romantic relationship between two charismatic and talented young gay men, Bridegroom shares the love story of Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom, who died in a tragic accident. Caught between worlds of city and country life truth and myth, hatred and compassion, the film shows the struggles Crone faced, finding himself cut off and deprived of any legal protection after Bridegroom's death.
