The “First Friday Jazz Jams” celebrates its 15th year beginning in January of 2024.  Jazz students are invited to bring their instruments and participate in this open jam session.  The evening kicks off with a brief set by our GCJS jazz quartet led by Nicole Yarling and is followed by jamming with local student musicians. The Friday Jazz Jams provide students a chance to perform with a live professional backline, provided by the Gold Coast Jazz Society for each jam session. Friday Jazz Jams are open to any jazz students from area middle schools, high schools, colleges, and universities.  Audience members of all ages invited to attend.
