Pages From Our Youth, A Journey Through Imagination in Books

Presented by Broward Cultural Division at Broward Main Library

Welcome to “Pages From Our Youth, A Journey Through Imagination In Books.”

This captivating concept takes the idea of an ordinary selfie museum and elevates it to a whole new level of wonder and nostalgia. Each of the 16 unique installations in the space will be designed and hand-painted by Claudine, bringing iconic scenes from timeless children\'s books to life with a magical touch.

As visitors explore the different photo sets, they will find themselves immersed in a world of imagination - where they can not only capture the perfect selfie, but also experience the stories they cherished in their childhoods in an entirely new way, with each installation thoughtfully crafted to preserve the essence and authenticity of each classic tale.

Claudine\'s design will incorporate interactive elements that engage the imagination of both children and adults. For example, guests can open doors to peek into the wardrobe leading to Narnia from C.S. Lewis\'s \"The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe\" or “harvest” apples that fall from “The Giving Tree.”

Pages From Our Youth’s primary goal is to promote literacy and a love for reading among younger visitors, as well as create a positive and nostalgic space for all ages.
