About the film: Experience resilience through the perspective of a young girl in Pit Bulls and Piranhas. This short film set in the 1980s unfolds the transformative passage of a child into young womanhood, tackling themes of generational trauma, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit.

We are seeking funding to breathe life into a 15-minute short film, Pit Bulls and Piranhas, an enthralling piece serving as a proof of concept for an upcoming full-length trauma-drama feature. This feature aims to explore the untold stories of resilience in the face of adversity.
