Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Intracoastal Waterway, the 2024 Street Art Regatta (StAR) produced by Grace Arts Center, a South Florida Non Profit Arts Advocacy Organization, promises an unprecedented celebration of athleticism of youth sailing and coastal parks. This year, StAR proudly announces its largest gathering of sailing teams to date, accompanied by a stunning array of painted sails, quadrupling the artistic fervor of previous editions.

The General public can join in the free activities by entering the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park off East Sunrise Blvd. and driving around the park to the westernmost section along the Intracoastal Waterway.

At Birch State Park guests can bring blankets, chairs and picnic along the grassy area near the sea wall to enjoy the 1 hour interactive art exhibition on the water. A small fee to enter the park is required which helps to maintain the parks’ many amenities.

After the event, park guests can enjoy the restaurant in the park situated along the ocean all within a short drive.
