An immersive art installation exploring the codifying, pejorative usage, and symbolism of floral botany across the histories of the queer community; to disseminate histories, reclaim language, and rejoice in nature’s beauty. Utilizing hand-built ceramic sculptures, paintings, and drawings; viewers will enter an imagined, luxuriant “garden” of green carnations, lavender, pansies, and violets.
