The Arts Accelerator South Florida Filmmaker Festival is an innovative, highly interactive program designed to develop, promote, and monetize South Florida Film talent. 

The Festival seeks to identify local talent, connect them with a network of experienced professionals, develop their skills with career-changing mentorship opportunities, and promote South Florida filmmakers to a worldwide audience. 

To achieve this, the festival includes

Competitive short film screenings designed to discover emerging talent.
A “film race”, in partnership with the 48-Hour Film Project, where participants can rapidly learn, network, and gain professional experience. 
The opportunity to be screened during the “South Florida Emerging Filmmaker Showcase” where select films are combined to create a documentary-style feature film that is pitched for distribution.
Professional development workshops/panels that contribute to workforce readiness.

The “South Florida Emerging Filmmaker Showcase” is a yearly feature-length compilation of short films by emerging South Florida filmmakers. The feature-length format is suitable for Worldwide distribution on streaming platforms, which enables local creatives to gain distribution and potential royalties for their creative work.
