In an effort to help “bring back the arts to our community” after a very challenging 18 months for this industry, Business for the Arts of Broward announces the launch of the Broward Arts Campaign (BAC), a new initiative that will help build an immediate source of funds for Broward’s cultural organizations and focus on leveraging corporate dollars in support of the arts. BAC was developed as a collaboration between Business for the Arts of Broward, Broward County’s Cultural Division, Community Foundation of Broward, Broward Workshop and  Rosemary Duffy Larson Trust for the benefit of the Broward Arts Community.

All arts lovers, entrepreneurs, businesses and those who care about the arts are encouraged to donate online (website). All funds collected during the BAC will benefit small and mid-sized arts nonprofits and be granted in the form of unrestricted general operating dollars. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of donations will be distributed to local cultural organizations, through a grant making process.

Non-profit organizations whose primary mission is arts and culture are eligible to apply for unrestricted $5,000 grant awards. Applications are open now through November 12th. Funds will be awarded to the top scoring applicants by December 20th and at least 20 recipients will receive funds.
