This is a truly unique experience! The National Park Residency Artists (2 people min/maximum, but only one needs to be an artist) will spend a month virtually alone in the historical lighthouse keeper’s house on Loggerhead Key with all sorts of tropical flora and fauna, including endangered Loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. Open to all artists, writers musicians or performance artists. This August 2021 residency sponsored by THE KEY WEST ART & HISTORICAL SOCIETY is open exclusively to South Florida Artists. INCLUDES $4000 stipend for the artists.

Dry Tortugas National Park at Loggerhead Key is like no other little paradise in the world. Because of its fragile ecosystem, very few people are allowed to step foot -- much less live there -- as an Artist-in-Residence. This is a unique opportunity for a wide range of writers, visual artists, astrophotographers, filmmakers, performers and dancers who want to get serious work done without disruptions. ANY & ALL ARTISTIC EXPRESSION / MEDIA ACCEPTED.
