NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale is seeking to hire a Communication & Public Relations Manager. 

This position is full time with full benefits. 

Job functions include:

1. Interacts and works closely with all Museum and NSU departments and public relations consultants for promotion of various activities, exhibits and events at the Museum.

2. Manages heavy workflow including but not limited to the following: update Museum website, create content for social media, edit videos, brainstorm new technologies and foster new and existing public relations.

3. Supervises graphic designer, student workers and interns assigned to marketing department.

4. Writes and composes newsletters, press releases and other publication items and pitches stories. Collaborates on e-blast designs and updates mailing lists as needed.

5. Oversees all social media posts and develop and implement social media strategies, placing boosted ads as needed.

6. Updates the Museum's website and edits videos as needed.

7. Monitors user engagement and ROI analytics.

8. Coordinates print and digital ads and disseminates press releases. Coordinates media previews, media visits, photography, creation of press kits and virtual reality tours.

9. Manages marketing requests from all departments in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met. Assists with creative direction for all collateral and archives for future needs.

10. Works with third party vendors for various projects including photographing and filming events, design and printing of collateral and mailing production.

11. Develops annual budget; monitors operating budget and processes invoices timely.

12. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
