City Vista Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Program | Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA)

Inviting artists of all disciplines to apply for the City Vista Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program, the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) opened the AiR application process to the public on the morning of December 18, 2017. A mixed-use apartment building deep in the heart of downtown Pompano Beach, City Vista is a short walk away from three dynamic – and diverse – arts and cultural centers. Expected to be completed in mid-January 2018, City Vista’s rent-regulated one- and two-bedrooms will be move-in ready in March 2018.

Participating in unique promotional opportunities and an Artist Board of Residents, artists selected for AiR will volunteer at the Ali Cultural Arts Center, Bailey Contemporary Arts and the newly opened Pompano Beach Cultural Center and Library. Eligible artists must meet specific income criteria. Find a full listing of financial requirements and rental details at broward.org/BrowardHousingCouncil/.

Handled by the leasing office of Royal American Management, City Vista is a first-come, first-served opportunity to live and work in Pompano Beach’s developing arts district. Leasing criteria include the last six pay stubs of each applicant, photo identification and a $15 money order for each adult, social security cards for adults and minors and birth certificates for minors. Only service animals are allowed.

Interested artists should submit a portfolio of their artistic work to innovate@copbfl.com. For more leasing information, contact Royal American Management by calling Hajji at 954-942-7142.
