Three singers who became stars on popular U.S. television shows and a hip-hop dancer who achieved international fame on YouTube will join a “WE” cast that includes Broadway legend and recording artist Linda Eder, Grammy-award winning international singer Jon Secada.

The four recently announced performers are “So You Think You Can Dance” winner Eliana Girard, “The Voice” star Sisaundra Lewis, “X Factor” sensation Lillie McCloud and You Tube hip-hop dance sensation Marquese Scott.

“WE” also will feature more than 100 performers drawn from “the unique pool of talent from right here in our backyard,” producer-director Neil Goldberg said, adding that the production will reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of Broward County and South Florida.

The show, Saturday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, will celebrate 100 years of Broward County history in song and dance.

“It runs the gamut of every genre,” Goldberg said. The audience will “see what Broward was at that time.”

It will see county landmarks like The Classic Gateway Theater which premiered the movie “Where the Boys Are” in 1960. The film linked Fort Lauderdale to college students on spring break and put the city on the map.
