When the Young at Art Museum in Davie hosted its second annual Rockin’ New Year’s Party, the museum brimmed with a touch of magic as nearly 1,200 enthusiastic attendees anticipated the countdown to 2015. This New Year’s celebration was made extra special with a Color Balloon drop at noon for the kids (and the young at heart!), and a bevvy of activities including trains rides by Catabella Express, an ultimate dance routine showdown, museum visits of the exhibition ColorPlay! were sure to be a crowd pleaser.

But what also brought charm and fun to this Broward 100 sanctioned event, was Miss Broward County 2014 Yesenia Molina’s dazzling appearance. Miss Yesenia Molina, of Margate, crowned in her tiara, was given the important task of leading the countdown, as the Color Balloon was about to drop. Word was that the kids adored the talented leader, Yesenia Molina, and that she had a great time.

Miss Yesenia Molina served as a spokesperson at Broward 100 – Celebrating the Art of Community kickoff event last October.

The Miss Broward County Scholarship Pageant is an official local preliminary of the Miss America Program, the world’s leading provider of scholarships for young women which will celebrate its 94th year of service to the young women of America.
