Exhibits on display during Starry Night Thursdays at the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale are guaranteed to leave you standing slack jawed before their awesome presence. Thursday night excursions to the NSU Art Museum are completely free from August 6 – October 8, leaving no reason to not witness the incredible variety of art on display in the coming months.

Some of the exceptionally rare pieces featured include an entire exhibit of one-of-a-kind Pablo Picasso ceramics and works on paper, which will be displayed through January 2016. “From Within and Without: The History of Haitian Photography” on display from June 21-October 4, reveals a Haitian culture which is at times tumultuous, but also remarkably contemporary considering the difficult times the nation has faced. “War Horses: Helhesten and the Danish Avant-Garde During World War II” exhibits fantasy art which may leave you scratching your head, but will also leave you in awe at the amount of contemporary art pieces able to break free during German occupation in World War II. Plan your Thursday trip to the NSU Art Museum before it’s too late, and prepare to be moved by what you will observe.
