The WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival @ AMC Aventura 24 Theater

In the pursuit to inspire the creation and distribution of art, while ultimately enhancing the creative mind, the WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival is proud to announce its commencement February 27, 2015, – March 3, 2015, sponsored by The Bahamas Weekly. During the five days, filmmakers from around the world will network with distributors, producers and marketing sales representatives. In addition, to key networking opportunities, the WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival will provide free workshops for filmmakers. The workshops will give positive critiques, key inside information and insight on how to make it to the next level as a filmmaker. Film submission entries begin Monday, December 1, 2014. All official selections will be announced Sunday, February 15, 2015, while early birds can purchase admission tickets in advance, beginning in early January 2015. The winner of the WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival will claim both bragging rights for the title: WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival’s “Best Filmmaker” and winner of the cash prize. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s charity foundation: Relay For Life.
