The Lyric Orchestra

Our vision in The Lyric Orchestra is to revisit the vocal techniques of the ‘Golden Age of Singing.’Under Maestro Bertacci, our musicians study a technique and form that at one time was standard, and has since faded away. We believe that if operas are studied and performed in the way that honors the composer’s musical intentions, audiences will not only appreciate and embrace the work, but also demand that all of their musical experiences be at such a standard.
