Each year this chapter volunteers many hours improving the lives of citizen in and around their community. Their goal is to be productive and creative in making a difference in their community. They help educate youth with their tutorial and mentoring programs. They have partnered with the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art to advocate the arts, cultural enrichment and diversity. They have worked with Habitat for Humanity providing lunches for volunteer workers building homes in Broward County. Health awareness and financial support for medical research is a major concern for them as they help their community and others. The Links, Incorporated, Fort Lauderdale Chapter has received honors from the Museum of Art-Fort Lauderdale, Florida A & M University (Alumnae Chapter), and the United Negro College Fund.
