The Girl Choir of South Florida

The Girl Choir of South Florida is the premier singing ensemble for young women ages 6 to 18 in the tri-county area. The Girl Choir, led by Artistic Director Wallis Peterson, has been extolled by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as “imaginative, accessible, expressive, and entertaining”, and has gained a reputation for delivering compelling concert programming. The Girl Choir’s repertoire is broad, from ancient to modern, classical to popular, sacred to secular, and folk to Broadway, encompassing many cultures, faiths, and traditions. The mission of the Girl Choir is to present the compelling sound of young women’s voices in outstanding performances through a quality music education program.
