Sankofa's Child Inc

Sankofa’s Child Inc is cultural arts company that offers cultural arts services in a variety of disciplines including but not limited to visual arts, writing, spoken word, dance, and theater. Since its inception in 2004 Sankofa’s Child Inc has been servicing the tri-county area (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade County) and to date has touched the lives over 20,000 children and 1,000 teachers through professional development workshops. Their motto is “Connecting our Heritage to our Future…through the Arts.” The mission is not to only expose children and adults to the arts but to also use the arts a teaching tool so that children, teachers, and adults can make connections to art, science, math, and social studies in unique and profound new ways.
