Independent Curator of visual art exhibitions, events, and special projects throughout South Florida.
Lisa Rockford, founder of Rockford Projects, earned an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has over a decade of experience as an independent curator in South Florida.

Our distinctive exhibitions seek to offer innovative, Contemporary approaches to relevant cultural topics. In 2013, Lisa was dubbed a “Rising Star” in Gold Coast Magazine’s article, “40 under 40,” due to her presence in the local art community. She has worked with over 250 artists, produced 21 exhibitions as an independent curator, and has been invited to curate for The Mordes Collection, The Projects Contemporary Art Space in FATvillage, and Bailey Contemporary Arts, regularly commissioned to facilitate projects for the Girls’ Club Collection, the Broward Art Guild, Young at Art Museum, and Plantation City Art in the Park. Several of these exhibitions have offered cash prizes and were awarded grant funding by the Broward Cultural Division.
