About Florida Singing Sons:
Florida Singing Sons (FSS) is responsible for the musical education of thousands of South Florida students during the past forty-four years. Organized into three ensembles spanning second through twelfth grade, FSS is an elite youth choir organization that communicates the transformative and unifying power of choral music by performing a rich and varied repertoire. FSS students dedicate themselves to a rigorous music education program that results in university-level musicianship skills, thorough understanding of vocal pedagogy and choral techniques, and life-changing personal growth and development.
FSS continues the tradition of classical composers like Bach and Handel by performing the repertoire with an ensemble for which it was originally conceived – a choir of men and boys. These historically informed performances have received extraordinary acclaim from audiences both domestic and international. In addition to its own concert series, FSS is in high demand for guest performances with other musical organizations. Florida Singing Sons fosters the musical knowledge, education, and vocal training of its members through performances and community events. South Florida is proud of the talent and professional achievements of its youth.
