Serving Adults with Autism, Down Syndrome & others with Intellectual, Learning & Developmental Disabilities
We provide a creative (visual arts) program taught by Broward Artists to special needs adults. During these sessions, our adults paint on canvas, metal, glass, wood and rock. We take the unique approach to art instruction which is Art with a Pleasure.
Our Music and Dance Programming is a wonderful presentation of musical appreciation along with song and dance lessons from professional organizations through Broward & Dade Counties. Special emphasis is placed on cultural musical from around the world.
The Arts & Crafts Programming, is by far, our most sought after activity by parents / caregivers with adult children with special needs. The organization plans lots of projects which are implemented and with assistance from a host of volunteers, our members, who we always refer to as Stars, design, create and produce the most interesting and unique items which are on exhibit throughout Broward County.
The Theater Programming begins in the month of October for an end of the year presentation. In 2010 we performed "The Lion King", 2011 "Rudolph, the Red-Nose Raindeer and in 2012, a beautiful presentation of the dawn of spring entitled, "Springtime".
