Ashanti Cultural Arts

Ashanti was founded in March of 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by Linda Houston Jones. The name Ashanti is a royal West African Tribe known for its Cultural Richness and Diversity. Ashanti has been serving communities for over 20 years with classes and entertainment in the Arts since the organization’s founding.

MISSION

Ashanti’s mission to provide communities with premier programs in literacy, music, dance and wellness classes. The mission of Ashanti is achieved through Arts in Education, After School Programs, Summer Camps, Wellness programs, and Main Stage Productions. Ashanti has received many prestigious awards, and recognition as a leader in the arts
