The traditional method of block printing textiles is finding new life in contemporary art and design, giving fabrics a tactile, handmade look. Participants will learn about creating motifs and repeat patterns and will carve their own designs onto linoleum blocks through step by step instructions. The workshop will conclude with proofing blocks and a fabric printing demonstration.
The fabric printing demonstration will highlight DIY at-home printing techniques. While there may not be enough time
