Erika Tommie is a Dakota woman from the Santee Sioux Nation. She will be sharing her cultural and artistic knowledge about the traditional art of dreamcatcher making at the ODF Arts & Heritage House on February 1, 2020. Free and open to the public.

I am a full blooded Dakota Sioux from the Santee Sioux Nation located in Northeastern Nebraska currently residing in Broard County. Art has always been a big part of me. When I create I am free. I am at peace with the Universe. My artistic passions in life are painting, photography and making Dreamcatchers.
