"Torty & Harriet"

“Torty & Harriet” is an interactive performance for Pre-K through 2nd graders highlighting lessons of self-esteem and the values of kindness and teamwork.   When Harriet bullies Torty into a race, Torty wants to run and hide. But with the encouragement of her friends, Torty steps up to the challenge  and confronts her own fears. Harriet, over-confident and self-involved falls into a trap and is headed for an embarrassing defeat in front of the whole school, but she is saved by Torty’s compassion and goodwill.  Educational guides with curriculum connections to Florida’s benchmarks are included with the performance. Performances follow COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocol.
