The symposium is a first of its kind in the Haitian market targeting artists, professionals and entrepreneurs of the arts sector.

The mission of the Haitian Creative and Cultural Industries Symposium (HCCIS) is to create a platform for Haitian artists from different arts disciplines, entrepreneurs and professionals of the creative and cultural industries in Haiti and in the diaspora to effectively address issues related to their industries in order to promote collaborative and creative strategies that will stimulate economic development in the Haitian community
