Singing Valentines

South Florida Jubilee Women's Chorus is a musical asset in the Broward community. The nonprofit Chorus has been performing "singing valentines" in Broward County since we were chartered in 1997 as an official Sweet Adelines International Chorus. Providing singing valentines give us the opportunity to display our art form publicly and before the many spectators who are present when these valentines are delivered. It is also a way for the Chorus to raise funds. Each year, several of the quartets of the Chorus go to various locations to deliver two songs, a rose, and a card with a personal message from the sender to his/her loved one, friend, boss, fellow workers. This fundraiser promotes friendship, a sense of belonging to a community, and promotes the art of four-part harmony.
