The Breast Cancer Awareness Gala provides a unique and remarkable opportunity for women to discuss the challenges faced by them when it comes to fighting against this deadly disease. It also provides a chance to celebrate and thank the numerous partners, and survivors who have joined in to make an impact and be a part of the movement for breast cancer awareness. The event will feature Susan G Komen Mia/Fort Lauderdale Affiliate as a beneficiary of the concert series this year.
The event will kick off with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm followed by a Creole Culinary experience at 7:00 pm with the event ending at approximately 2:00 am. There will be various forms of entertainment at the event, the main highlight of the event will be the performance by the well-known group Kreyol La from Haiti, personal stories and testimonies by survivors. Our goal for this event is to bring awareness to Breast Cancer’s prevalence in the Caribbean islands while celebrating Creole Cuisine and raising money. While formal attire is encouraged at this event, we are not hoping to see everyone in Pink nor Black.
The tickets for the performance are $100. Tickets can also be purchased in person at several locations in South Florida or at the door.

Fort Lauderdale, FL on October 11, 2019 –Planning for the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Pink Noire Gala had been underway for months, with the event originally scheduled to showcase the band Mizik Mizik on Saturday, October 19.
With the political climate in Haiti and the uncertainty surrounding travels, and the backlog of visas petitions that the US Embassy is unable to deliver in a timely manner, HAAMC and its board of directors reluctantly came to the decision of making some changes to the line-up. We will continue to work with the US Embassy and the management team of Mizik Mizik to bring you the band at a later date.
Meanwhile, HAAMCC and its board of Directors are pleased to announce the event will now be held at DCOTA with “KREYOL LA” where we will still celebrate Life of our cancer fighters, honor those who we lost and create memories with those who we love.
Pink Noire’s focus is to turn cancer awareness into action. Our vice president – a three-time cancer survivor spearheaded the past three successful editions while in remission to give hope and empower men and women struggling with diagnosis, work and business entrepreneurship.
This year, Pink Noire will feature Chef Rachelle Daoud in a culinary experience that will take you around several Caribbean countries for Creole Heritage Month, from New Orleans to Martinique and back to Haiti. A culinary experience that will leave you asking for more. Bon Appetite!
Our Haiti is going through a very tumultuous time, it will take each one of us doing our part to bring her back from the abyss. Let’s all come together to effectively make this change that is so needed in order to have a new and equitable Haiti.
L’union fait la Force.
