En Plein Air Painting with Watercolor

Spend the day learning to make loose and painterly watercolors outside. We will focus on shape, value and color to achieve our painting in this class. Watercolor is the perfect medium for pein air painting. It lends itself very well to working outdoors.

Carl will start with a demo where he takes the group through all steps of making a painting. The rest of the time will be spent with everyone painting while Carl helps each one in the group with their individual paintings.

All levels welcome, but a working knowledge of watercolor as well as basic drawing skills ae an advantage. Please come prepared with materials and an easel.
