SUMMER FUNDAYS CREATE-A-PLATE

Reveal your inner artist at a Create-a-Plate Summer Funday event, available throughout the month of August. Create-a-Plate for serving or simply for decor! All ages welcome.

Using slab construction, plates will be rolled out, cut, and formed. Base colors will be applied to the wet clay before adding your own unique design. Learn two methods for applying your design onto the plate, sgrafitto, also called incising, or by stenciling a simple design onto the raw clay. Embellish your plate with an additional slip-trail design if desired.

Workshop includes all materials and firings, plus a beverage of your choice. BYOB also welcomed!

Finished work will be available for pick-up the following Friday or by appointment.

Reservations are recommended as seating is limited, providing for a more personal, intimate experience. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on available space. Please arrive on time.
